MINIMUM SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:



  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field of study
  • Must have twelve (12) - fifteen (15) years' of related, proven experience in technical program management
  • At least eight (8) years' of experience with NATO and allied ISR data link communications capabilities and requirements
  • Understanding of NATO Standard Agreement (STANAG) processes and procedures
  • At least ten (10) years' experience developing Common Data Link (CDL) technologies and specifications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Active DoD TS/SCI clearance
  • US and overseas travel required


DESIRED SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:



  • Twenty (20) plus years of related, proven experience in engineering and program management
  • At least ten (10) years' of related, proven experience in transitioning US technologies to foreign governments as authorized by foreign military sales agreements or formal treaty

FILLING THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON FUNDING

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

The ideal candidate will provide support and technical expertise to the CDL Team. Candidate must have a strong technical background in wideband radio frequency communications including US and allied capabilities.



  • Provide technical expertise to the NATO Standardization Agreement (STANAG) 7085 custodian in planning, preparing for, conducting, and documenting meetings of the STANAG 7085, Interoperable Data Links for Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) Systems Custodial Support Team (CST)
  • Serve as technical editor of STANAG 7085, Allied Engineering Data Publication (AEDP)-7085, and AEDP-7085.1, including researching, analyzing, reviewing and preparing disclosure release requests for CDL technical documents in support of DoD services, US defense industry partners, and authorized foreign government as authorized by foreign military sales agreements or formal treaty
  • Prepare presentations and reports on the results of STANAG 7085 Custodial Support Team meetings for the custodian to present at the Joint Capability Group on ISR (JCGISR) meetings and United Kingdom (UK)/US Tactical Data Link Bilateral meetings
  • Provide recommendations to the STANAG 7085 custodian on CDL technologies and capabilities that should be transitioned into the NATO standards
