Description

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

* Experience making unique style of Pizza with hand stratch pizza dough

* Prepares food, sauces and garnishes for service, with extra attention given to specific requests

* Ensure timely preparation of all food items for service

* Effective communication with team members and supervisors

* Maintain cleanliness and organization of their station throughout preparation and service

* Ability to multitask in a high volume environment and being able to put out quality food while keeping your composer

* When service is slow, come into the kitchen to keep busy





Qualifications:



* Food preparation

* Qualifying Certificate in Food Protection (NYC Food Handlers)



Supervisory Responsibility:



None



Work Environment:



Diverse, fast-paced, deadline driven, multi-project coordination, prioritizing and flexing to accommodate last minute requests and changes.



Physical Demands:



While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee is required to stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 30 pounds.



Preferred Education and Experience:



* Prior experience as a cook required, Min. 1 year experience.

* Knowledge of kitchen sanitation and operation and maintenance of kitchen equipment.

* Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques.

* Must be familiar with all phases and operations of the kitchen.
