Vesta is currently seeking a Front Desk/Admin Assistant to join our Regional Office in Lanham, MD. As a vital member of our team, you will serve as the face of Vesta, providing exceptional customer service to clients and external agencies.
Position Details:
- Location: Lanham, MD
- Hours: 8:00am - 4:30pm
Responsibilities:
- - Answer phones and schedule clients
- - Check clients in and act as a liaison between nurse practitioners and therapists
- - Assist clients with paperwork and benefits applications
- - Conduct data entry, filing, and billing tasks
- - Source external agencies for resources and review clinical documentation for compliance
Requirements:
- - Excellent customer service experience in a fast-paced environment
- - Strong ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- - Knowledge of cultural characteristics of clients
- - Familiarity with CPT codes and medical billing guidelines
- - Proficiency in Outlook, Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and database programs
- - Ability to pass background check and drug screening
Preferences:
- - Experience in mental health, social services, or healthcare field
- - Knowledge of Medicaid/Medicare and private insurance
- - Two years' experience in an administrative position in an Outpatient Mental Health Clinic or similar setting
- - Associate degree or certificate in health and human services

Compensation and Benefits:
Pay Range: $17.80/hour - $19.93/hour, paid bi-weekly, with opportunities for overtime. Salary calculated based on education and experience.
Other Compensation: Employees are eligible for bonuses (variable, depending on company and individual performance) and paid training.
PTO: New employees can accrue up to 96 hours of PTO in the first year (pro-rated based on start date and hours worked). Employees can accrue up to 40 hours of sick leave per calendar year (pro-rated based on start date and hours worked).
Holidays: Full-Time employees receive 8 paid holidays per year, with overtime if required to work. Part-Time employees are eligible for overtime if required to work on holidays.
Retirement: 403(b) plan participation available at hire. Employer matching after 1000 hours of service. Discretionary employer contributions are given at least once a year.
Health Benefits: Full and Part-Time Employees are eligible for benefits beginning the first day of the month after hire. Benefits include Medical, Dental, and Vision (single and family), flex-spending accounts (FSA and Dependent Care).
Company-Paid Benefits: Full-Time employees are eligible for Long-Term Disability and Basic Life/AD&D. All employees are eligible for the Employee Assistance Program (EAP).
Other Voluntary Benefits: Full-Time employees are eligible for Short-Term Disability coverage.
