Description
Echelon is seeking to hire a Supply Technician to support our PA National Guards mission critical needs. Job Duties:
Serve as the point of contact for customers with supply and service problems
Identify and resolve issues such as lost shipments, issue shortages, and back orders
Research document flow, report accuracy, funds utilization, priority management, and regulatory compliance
Provide input to improve procedures and operations, and follow up to ensure customer satisfaction
Coordinate with other USPFO activities, maintenance activities, supported units, inventory control points, supply activities, and higher headquarters to resolve supply problems
Assist with inventory, issues, and receiving of items, including New Equipment Training (NET) and Rapid Fielding Initiative (RFI) equipment for deploying Soldiers
Provide technical support for property book management and property accountability
Maintain property book accountability and support documentation, assisting unit Property Book Officers (PBO) with establishing and maintaining property book accountability
Identify and correct property accountability and visibility problem areas, and provide information to stakeholders
Use GCSS-Army and Decision Support Tool (DST) for managing property accountability
Generate and submit reports on equipment status, delinquent hand receipt holders, and delinquent inventories
Prepare and process adjustment documents and statements of charges for lost or damaged equipment
Assist with hand receipt transfer requests, establishing new hand receipts, and reconciling physical inventories
Ensure compliance with regulations during equipment turn-in procedures
Provide technical support for property accountability, customer assistance, and resolving discrepancies
Travel to units as required, with provided or assigned government transportation, and document travel costs for reimbursement in accordance with the Joint Travel Regulation (JTR)
Requirements:
Experience in logistics and supply management, with a minimum of seven (7) years for Team Leaders
Army experience/knowledge directly related to the contract requirements
Working knowledge of Army Regulations, procedures, and policies pertaining to personnel management and Army correspondence
Proficiency with GCSS-Army and Decision Support Tool (DST)
Computer skills using Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Ability to understand and comply with relevant Army regulations and directions
Valid driver's license
Ability to travel as required and maintain a clean and orderly work environment
5% or less overnight travel within the greater Pennsylvania area.
Active Secret Clearance is Required
