Description

Line Cook is a key member of the culinary team who is responsible for the execution of high-quality food in a consistent manner. Must be prepared to work in a fast paced work environment, while maintain the organizational ability to identify and act quickly to prioritize tasks. In addition, to produce all order on an a la carte basis and to prep for buffets, banquets, salad bars and hors d'oeuvres.

This is a full-time position. Scheduled hours will vary weekly between Monday-Sunday. Weekdays, weekends and holidays are required. Typically 4pm-Midnight.

The ideal candidate should have one year of experience as a banquet or restaurant cook (full service, busy kitchen), previous culinary training, and certified in food handling and food safety sanitation requirements. A pleasant attitude and outgoing personality, the ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations, strong verbal communication, excellent time-management skills, and the ability to maintain a realistic balance among multiple changing priorities is a must! He/She must demonstrate strong attention to detail, the ability to understand guest service needs and the ability to work cohesively with co-workers and other departments as part of a team.
