Role and Responsibilities:

The Laundry Manager will be responsible for managing the day to day laundry operation to ensure the efficient and effective functioning of all laundry aspects.



  • Oversee all operational aspects of the laundry facility, including production scheduling, inventory management, equipment maintenance, and quality control.
  • Responsible for hiring, training, and managing staff within the laundry facility; staff is primarily composed of individuals with disabilities or disabling conditions.
  • Delegate task, monitor performance, and provide ongoing training and development opportunities.
  • Establish and enforce quality standards for laundry processing, ensuring that all items meet cleanliness, appearance, and safety standards before being delivered to customers.
  • Maintain relationships with customers to understand their needs and ensure that service expectations are met or exceeded.
  • Handle customer complaints or inquiries.
  • Manage the laundry facility budget, including monitoring expenses
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations within the laundry facility. This includes proper handling of chemicals, maintenance of equipment, and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Oversee inventory levels of linens, cleaning supplies, and other materials needed for laundry operations.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned



Education Requirements:



  • High school diploma and/or GED



Qualifications Requirements:



  • Minimum of Three (3) year's supervisory experience
  • Minimum of Two (2) years' experience working in a laundry setting
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment



Physical Demands:



  • Reasonable accommodations may be me made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these functions.
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, reach, gran and lift up to fifty (50) lbs.
  • Must be able to stand and walk the entire shift.
