POSITION Reporting to the Head of Insurance, the Senior Insurance Client Advisor - West will be responsible for proactively developing and managing Allspring's Insurance Channel (general account and retirement/pension pools) in the Western region, with a focus on new business development. This Advisor will serve as one of the firm's key spokesperson's to "tell the story" of Allspring's capabilities to insurance investors by leveraging Allspring's deep expertise and history managing insurance company assets and finding creative ways to solve the unique and evolving investment needs of the insurance industry. The Advisor, in coordination with the Head of Insurance, will develop and execute a sustained sales strategy that articulates the firm's solutions-based investment strategies, products and performance. RESPONSIBILITIES The Advisor's priority will be to cultivate new insurance relationships in the Western region using a consultative and 'solutions-driven' approach. CANDIDATE The successful candidate will have 5-10+ years of experience developing relationships with sophisticated institutional investors including insurance companies. He/She will have a proven track record of raising assets and be capable of articulating complex investment strategies and engaging in solutions-oriented discussions with senior investment professionals and key decision makers.
