The Quality Compliance Specialist supports the functions of the department in the assessment, measurement, and reporting of ongoing compliance with The Joint Commission (TJC), Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), and California Department of Public Health Standards (CDPH). Supports and coordinates The Joint Commission, CMS, CDPH, and all other survey activities for UC San Diego Health's multiple sites. The Quality Compliance Specialist works in collaboration with key members of the organization in the development and execution of educational activities and materials for ongoing survey readiness of all levels of personnel, medical staff, residents, and other students. Works with key stakeholders to support safe care and help lead our journey of high reliability. While not required, a cover letter is highly recommended when applying to this position. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Pay Transparency Act Annual Full Pay Range: $112,100 - $216,500 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%) Hourly Equivalent: $53.69 - $103.69 Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable). |
