About This Role:

The Kansas State Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory (KSVDL) within the College of Veterinary Medicine is seeking applicants for a full-time, Laboratory Client Services Assistant. This position will provide customer service (both in English and Spanish) for the Rabies Laboratory through communications via email, fax, and phone with veterinarians, reference laboratories, medical doctors, pet owners, health departments and regulatory agencies, and maintain the quality system through corrective action reports and ensuring high customer relations. Person in this position may receive and process serum sample specimens for rabies serology testing.

Worksite Options:

This position is required to be performed on-site. Work is performed on employer premises or designated assignment location.

Minimum Qualifications:



  • Requires a high school diploma and one year of relevant experience


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's Degree
  • The applicant should speak, write, and read Spanish competently.
  • Excellent computer skills including databases, word processing and data entry.
  • Excellent written and oral, interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
