The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.

Position Summary

The candidate will play an integral role in coordinating and conducting clinical research in the division of Pulmonology. Reporting directly to the Principal Investigator, the short-term research casual will focus on supporting the activities of a newly established award. The candidate will work closely with the PI and members of the research team to support the day-to-day operations of the studies and ensure the effective completion of tasks.

Responsibilities



  • Recruit study participants, including screening, enrollment, and visit coordination.
  • Coordinate study visits, including collecting data, collecting/processing, and shipping blood and body fluid samples.
  • Conduct portions of study-related visits off-site in a community setting.
  • Maintain all regulatory and compliance documentation.
  • Manage supply inventory and ordering, as requested.
  • Perform data analysis & write up findings for publication.
  • Ensure maintenance of all equipment.
  • Adhere to all study protocols.
  • Performs related duties & responsibilities as assigned/requested.


Minimum Qualifications



  • High School Graduate or Equivalency required.


Preferred Qualifications



  • Ability to speak Spanish.
