Sr. Maintenance Technician Summary:

Responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment according to best safe work practices.

Sr. Maintenance Technician Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Works safely, utilizing lock-out tag-out and follows UFPT and OSHA safe work practices.
  • Maintains clean and organized 5S work area.
  • Ensures required tools, supplies, and spare parts are on hand, set in order, and ready for use.
  • Orders parts and supplies through purchasing as needed.
  • Reads and understands electrical schematics and written instructions.
  • Reads and interprets manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
  • Performs scheduled preventive equipment maintenance.
  • Ensures required documentation is completed daily.
  • Supports employee training and development in Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).
  • Updates employees and team on the status of requested maintenance support.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.

Sr. Maintenance Technician Qualification Requirements:

  • High school diploma or vocational school equivalent.
  • 5-7 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment or equivalent technical experience.
  • Trade or vocational certifications preferred.
  • Ability to read electrical schematics.
  • Experienced in process water temperature control system repairs.
