Senior Web Application Architect

You are responsible for business analysis, application design, development, integration and delivery and application maintenance and support. You are self-motivated professional, who will also bring leadership skills and quickly learn new technologies and programming languages. You will propose, develop, and support customer facing web applications as a technical thought leader and provide hands-on solutions to meet and exceed customer expectations. You will serve as a technical "thought leader" by continuously learning evolving technologies and new business requirements and articulate those new concepts and strategies to senior business managers and developers.
What you will do:
  • Architect, designand implement complex systems withhigh availability, performance, security, and cost in mind.
  • Drive change for company's technical direction including cloud solutions, CICD tools and choice of programming languages.
  • Act as a multiplier by building systems, authoring tools, or introducing policies or patterns that raise the level of productivity of the entire organization.
  • Design, develop scalable, high availability, high performanceproductswith a deep understanding of front end and back-end architectures.
  • Shape broad architecture; ship multiple large services, complex libraries, or major pieces of infrastructure.
  • Lead cross team efforts and projects thatspan multiple domains and business units.
  • Play a key role in developing multi-year technology strategy for complete and critical areas of the business that encompass multiple systems and teams.
  • Partner with product and other teams to actualize a more advanced product strategy informed by technology.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical solutions to non-technical people across all levels of management.
  • Serveas a role model and mentor to technical membersof the team.
  • Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
You need to have:
  • Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience.
  • 10years of software development experience in the development of commercial applications using modern software engineering principles and practices.
  • Experience withmultiple technical domains andanunderstandingofhow and why technologies are deployed and utilized at INDG.
  • A track record of building stability, performance, and scalability across major business-critical systems.
  • Aclear understandingofthe relationship between complexity and cost and a record of successfully devising and implementing long-term strategies to lower it.
  • Demonstratedexperienceof cloud technologiesi.e.AWS, Serverless, Event DrivenArchitecture, SOC,MicroServices,Microfrontend, CI/CD, Infrastructure as code, and other modern technologies.
  • Demonstratedexperienceof professional software engineering practices and the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, architecture/design patterns, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
