POSITION

The Head of ETF Capital Markets will help develop and manage Allspring's overall ETF strategy. This person will be responsible for ensuring overall ETF investment and trading health, managing strategic external relationships across the ETF capital markets ecosystem, and providing education and support to both clients and internal stakeholders.

RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Lead and develop the ETF Capital Markets Team while playing an active role in developing Allspring's overall ETF strategy
  • Create and manage the ETF capital markets operating model, including coordination with key stakeholders on implementation of any required technology solutions to support the ETF operating model and potential product line growth
  • Establish and manage external relationships across the ETF capital markets ecosystem, including Authorized Participants (APs), Market Makers, listing exchanges, and other third-party vendors
  • Coordinate with investment teams on ETF portfolio management, including create/redeem baskets
  • Act as an ETF subject matter expert for Distribution and its clients by providing guidance on best execution for investors, responding to client inquiries, and contributing to thought leadership on the ETF market and structure
  • Collaborate with the Product Team and other internal stakeholders on ETF product development and management
  • Partner with Head of ETF Operations to ensure all aspects of the ETF workflow are optimized and running smoothly
  • Develop materials and engage with Fund Board as needed
  • Work closely with Risk and Compliance to develop and maintain ETF specific policies and procedures
  • Represent Allspring ETFs at industry conferences and events and participate in industry working groups and initiatives as needed


CANDIDATE

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of ETF capital markets experience, preferably with prior exposure to active ETFs.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS



  • Minimum 7+ years of relevant industry experience
  • 3+ years of management experience.
  • Proven leadership experience in building and managing various aspects of an ETF business
  • ETF subject matter expertise in portfolio management, trading and market structure
  • Subject matter expertise across global asset classes
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders in a team-based, results oriented environment
  • FINRA Series 7 and 63 required within 6 months of hire
  • Strong industry relationships within the ETF capital market ecosystem


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS



  • Experience with active ETFs and working across multiple investment teams
  • Experience with both US and non-US listed ETFs



Base Pay Range: $220,000-$280,000

Salary Range for NYC and California candidates only.Actual based may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary bonus programs, or other annual or non-annual incentive or sales plans.)
