We are hiring an on-callperson to cover shifts across our 24/7 operations.Shiftsmay include6:30 AM to 3 PM, 2:30 PMto 11 PM, or 10:30 PM to 7 AMon weekdays and weekends. This role is specifically needed to cover any callouts on the aforementionedshiftsand for holiday and/or PTO coverage. You will have as much advanced notice of your shiftas possible.This hourly position starts at $21.00 per hour, depending on your experience. The QualificationsTo be a good fit for the Guest Service Specialist position, you will have: Minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service, hospitality or a related position A genuine interest in working with the populations we serve First aid and CPR certification This position requires a valid California driver's license and the ability to pass and maintain a clean driving record check (MVR) in accordance with our company standards. Comfort driving an 11-passenger van for outings, clinic pick-up/drop-off, doctor's appointments, etc. Dependability; the ability to attend each shift and do quality work with minimal supervision Strong verbal, written and active listening communication skills Must be able to lift and carryobjects (25 lbs.), such as dishes, laundry and supplies, climb stairs and stand or sitfor long periods Note: Research shows that women and individuals from underrepresented backgrounds often apply to jobs only if they meet 100% of the qualifications. The Job Reporting to the Guest Service Specialist Supervisor, you will provide a high level of customer service to adults (clients) living on the property, ensuring they have what they need while following the lead of your supervisor and the requirements of the role. You will act professionally and appropriately in all of your client interactions, being friendly and helpful, but not a friend. You'll never directly correct clients, but will observe and report as required. Daily, you will perform a variety of tasks including a good deal of housekeeping (e.g., doing dishes after meals, taking laundry up and down the stairs, driving the van for shopping trips, transport, emergencies, etc., and facilitating activities).
