About the School of Civil & Environmental Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology The School of Civil and Environmental Engineering Program at the Georgia Institute of Technology is a vibrant School with people who are using new technologies to expand the notion of what it means to be civil and environmental engineers in the 21^st Century. Celebrating 125 years this academic year, we teach our students the engineering fundamentals they need to be successful at the interface of the built and the natural worlds. Location Atlanta, GA Job Summary The School of Civil & Environmental Engineering (https://ce.gatech.edu/) at the Georgia Institute of Technology (CEEatGT) invites applications for a non-tenure track Academic Professional position. This is a full-time, 12-month faculty position with a combination of teaching, faculty development, and administrative responsibilities. The expectation is for teaching responsibilities up to 35% of overall responsibilities. CEEatGT's strategic vision (https://ce.gatech.edu/strategic-vision) is: We will inspire and prepare the next generation of civil and environmental engineers to solve the world's most pressing challenges and improve the environment and quality of life for all. This position will support faculty development to enable realization of the School's strategic objectives for education. Candidates are expected to demonstrate an exceptional commitment to faculty development, and the teaching and mentoring of students. Responsibilities To deliver teamwork and collaborative innovation content in CEE courses. To lead the Collaborative Innovation Program in CEE. To act as a central point for developing and implementing the strategic education vision for CEE. To stay abreast of the best pedagogical practices and transfer this knowledge to faculty. To lead scholarship development in the areas of collaborative/curriculum innovation and related areas. To support CEE Faculty in grant development related to curriculum development and faculty training. To perform other related duties as assigned. Required Qualifications A terminal degree Significant related experience or promotion from the rank of Associate Academic Professional The quality of performance and potential for development must be recognized by peers. Preferred Qualifications A Ph.D. in Leadership, Collaborative Innovation, Education Development or similar field At least three years of experience in Higher Education Proposed Salary Salary Range: $95,000 - $115,000.
