Network Engineer

Echelon Services is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to join our team, supporting critical Army contracts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our organization's network infrastructure. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure our network systems are secure, reliable, and scalable.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless networks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure network systems are secure, reliable, and scalable.
• Troubleshoot network issues and implement solutions to resolve them.
• Monitor network performance and implement changes to improve network efficiency.
• Implement network security measures to protect against cyber attacks.
• Work with third-party vendors to evaluate and implement new network solutions.
• Create and update network documentation and diagrams.
• Provide training to end-users on network systems and applications.v

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in network engineering working with department of defense, or adjacent contractors.
• Active Secret clearance is required at time of hire.
• IAT Level II or higher certification is required.
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, and VLAN.
• Experience with network security technologies, including firewalls, VPN, and IDS/IPS.
• Experience with network monitoring and management tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
