MINIMUM SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:



  • Current qualifying certification/experience to meet DoDD 8140.01 Cyberspace Workforce Management criteria (previously DoDD 8570.1 Cybersecurity Workforce Management Framework or CSWF) - IAT 2 level preferred
  • Experience working in DoD enterprise environments
  • Proficiency in SharePoint Online and/or On-Premises administration
  • Experience with PowerShell scripting and SharePoint Designer
  • Strong understanding of SharePoint architecture, security, and best practices
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Effective communication and training skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, but possible years of experience in lieu of degree
  • Must have active TS/SCI clearance or TS with SCI eligible.


DESIRED SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:



  • Microsoft certifications related to SharePoint (e.g., Microsoft Certified: SharePoint Administrator Associate)
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 and related services (e.g., Teams, OneDrive, PowerApps)
  • Knowledge of SQL Server, Active Directory, and networking concepts

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

The SharePoint Administrator is responsible for the configuration, maintenance, and support of the organization's SharePoint environment. This role involves managing SharePoint sites, libraries, and user permissions, as well as providing support and training to end-users. The SharePoint Administrator ensures the platform's performance, security, and usability meet organizational needs.



  • Administers and maintains SharePoint Online and/or On-Premises environments.
  • Configures and manages SharePoint sites, document libraries, lists, and workflows.
  • Implements and manages site collections, site content, and user permissions.
  • Provides technical support to SharePoint users, addressing issues and troubleshooting problems
  • Develops and delivers training sessions and documentation for end-users to ensure effective use of SharePoint features and functionalities
  • Customizes SharePoint pages and web parts to meet business requirements
  • Develops and deploys SharePoint solutions using tools like PowerShell, SharePoint Designer, and third-party applications
  • Implements and enforces security policies and procedures to protect SharePoint data
  • Ensures SharePoint compliance with organizational standards and industry regulations
  • Monitors SharePoint performance and usage, identifying and addressing issues to ensure optimal operation
  • Conducts regular system audits and updates to maintain system health and performance
  • Collaborates with IT team members, business analysts, and other stakeholders to integrate SharePoint with other enterprise systems
  • Supports the implementation of new SharePoint features and functionalities as needed
  • Maintains comprehensive documentation of SharePoint configurations, processes, and changes
  • Generates and analyzes reports on SharePoint usage, performance, and issues
