Salary Range $29.90/hour Posting Date 07/03/2024 Union Yes FLSA Status Non-Exempt, Hourly Shift Work Possible FT/PT Full-time Relocation No Travel Possible M1 is looking for a Metal Trades Assistant: * Must possess an in-depth mechanical background and have mechanical ability. * Must possess the knowledge and capability to select and use common hand tools used to perform aircraft/turbojet engine maintenance. * Completion of high school or the equivalent is required. * A basic or specialized course in a mechanical maintenance career field is desired. * A knowledge of aircraft/turbojet engine maintenance will be provided by classroom and on-the-job training. * Satisfactory completion of the company provided training is required. * Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English. * Must be able to wear auditory protection devices. * Must be able to obtain and maintain a flight line driver's license as required. * Physical exertion requirement is medium. Additional Requirements: * A basic knowledge of the metal working trade of the area assigned, including the use of drawings, blueprints, and maintenance instructions is required. * Must have completed an approved formal metal working course. * Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English. * When using a respirator, must be able to obtain a good face-to-facepiece seal. * Must be able to obtain and maintain a flight line driver's license. * Physical exertion requirement is medium.
