The Middle Eastern Studies Program, housed within the Division of Social Sciences, at Saint Xavier University, invites applications for the ongoing pool of part-time adjunct faculty teaching in the interdisciplinary undergraduate Middle Eastern Studies minor program. The division is looking to create a pool of adjuncts who could contribute to courses routinely offered by the minor, and therefore could include elective courses in the applicant's area of expertise and interest. As an interdisciplinary minor, adjunct course offerings could span a wide range of fields, for example, history. We are looking for applicants who are able to teach face-to-face or online courses.

* Doctorate preferred; Master's degree acceptable * Evidence of effective teaching experience * Teaching training * Residency in Illinois, Iowa, Wisconsin, Indiana, Missouri, Kentucky, Michigan, or Arizona
Applicants should provide a cover letter and curriculum vitae, which specifies undergraduate Middle Eastern Studies courses taught, and separately, undergraduate Middle Eastern Studies courses qualified to teach, and teaching training.
