Will be required to perform all job requirements and meet all qualifications as determined by management for an Electrical Engineer, but works independently to perform installation, monitoring, maintenance, repair, and/or design modification of high-tech distributed manufacturing and industrial process control systems for the Fremont Plant. This entails optimizing system designs, maintenance, and operations processes; satisfying all safety concerns; building capability of skilled trades and participating in short- and long-range planning perspective with respect to instrumentation, automation, controls, and equipment. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs additional duties as assigned by Management. All employees will support and participate in Nestle Continuous Excellence (NCE) and Total Performance Management (TPM) as a part of their job responsibility within their Business Unit or as assigned within the factory. Employee shall follow Fremont Factory safety & environmental objectives & targets, follow the plant safety rules, report unsafe conditions immediately, report incidents immediately or by the end of the shift, maintain compliance with regulations, and refer to the Safety & Environmental Management System(s) on all related procedures and programs. REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM EDUCATION LEVEL: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience. EXPERIENCE: Minimum 3 to 5 years of electrical and automation engineering experience required. PREFERRED: Factory Automation & Industrial Electrical systems in the pharmaceutical or food industry. Knowledgeable in electricity, instrumentation, MES (Manufacturing Execution System). Specialized in process control (PLC, HMI/SCADA, Network, IT, etc). Extensive experience in AB Control Logix, Wonderware Archestra in Touch or System Platform, Siemens control system, Electrical and electronic circuits (480V and below). Experience in industrial Robot technology, Servo, and motion controls. SKILLS: Ability to work effectively with people at all levels of the organization. Good interpersonal, communication, and networking skills. Good organizational/administrative skills. High proficiency in using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project SAP knowledge desirable. Process qualification, validation in the pharmaceutical or food industry IQ, OQ, PQ. Strong project management skills. Computer Programming skills. Good knowledge and experience with factory automation systems (hardware & software):
