Job Overview:

Assists in the daily operation of the department by performing secretarial, receptionist, financial, ordering and general clerical duties

Qualifications:

Required:

  • High School Diploma, or equivalent
  • good organizational and communication skills required
  • Strong computer skills, and experience in data entry

Preferred:

  • Three to five years office experience preferred

Scheduling Requirements:

  • Shift- 9:00am-5:00pm
  • Monday-Friday including Holidays
  • Full Time

Essential Functions:

  • Complete and handle all registrations in accordance with the registration policy
  • Obtain all required information in order to accurately complete registration
  • Assists department in coordinating bi-weekly payroll
  • Maintains appropriate records and establishes departmental filing systems (including electronic filing system) to ensure the expeditious retrieval of information so that department head and/or department staff can accomplish their responsibilities
  • Answers telephone, divert calls, receives and relays messages accurately
  • Participates in overall telephone coverage on behalf of the entire department
  • Maintains complete and accurate telephone/visitor messages for department personnel, assuring timely and accurate routing of messages in a professional and courteous manner at all times
  • Ensures and maintains adequate levels of office supplies and equipment
  • Open incoming mail, screen for priority items and facilitate timely referral of issues to appropriate parties as instructed
  • Performs all other duties as assigned
