POSITION TYPE: Seasonal Part time/Full time STARTING PAY: $12-$14 SUPERVISORY: No SUPERVISED BY: Working Chef/ Sous Chefs POSITION SUMMARY: Washes dishes, cleans (including deep cleaning) and preps. Must be willing to work as a part of a team to assure an enjoyable working environment, and quality guest experience. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Operates dishwasher and manually washes oversized items and all knives. Puts dishes away where they go. Will assist with prep as needed. Will keep dish area clean and assist in clean up/closing of kitchen. Will be expected to stay busy during low business levels with cleaning and prep. Requires basic ability to relate well to co-workers and others in structured interaction. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Combined standing/walking position for up to 8 hours per shift. Required to lift up to 50lbs, shoulder level on an occasional basis; will use hands for grasping and fine manipulation. Worksite is 90% inside and 10% outside and could be exposed to fumes, odors, mechanical and burn hazards. Also exposed to ice/snow coming to and from work. OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES: Must have extensive knowledge of Schweitzer Mountain Resort facilities and activities. Responsibilities are listed as guidelines and the position is not necessarily limited to these items. JOB SPECIFICATIONS: SKILLS: Self-starter EDUCATION: English communication and reading EXPERIENCE: None LICENSE NEEDED: None MACHINES/TOOLS OPERATED: Dishwasher, slicer and knives.
