Individuals may enter expressions of interest by submitting their credentials to any posting for which they are qualified to teach. Postings are organized by college/school and department. Screening of individuals in the pool is ongoing, depending on curricular need and funding. Individuals will be contacted by the department if they reach the finalist stage for teaching a particular course or set of courses. The pool will remain in place until the closing date specified in the posting details; those interested in remaining in the pool beyond that time must resubmit. Apply for this Job Posting DetailsJob ID: 141272 Rank: Assistant ProfessorCollege/School: Chicago, IL - College of Science & Health Responsibilities:We are seeking to hire a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Community Psychology, to begin in September 2025. Ideal candidates will have a PhD in Community Psychology or a related academic area with a focus in trauma-related research. Candidates will have the skills to develop, expand, and lead a master's-level internship-based academic program with direct community outreach. The selected candidate is expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses, maintain a productive research agenda, and direct undergraduate and graduate student research while contributing to a climate of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging.
