Senior Accounting Manager - Inventory Specialist Location: Westport, CT (In-office, 5 days/week) Salary Range: $100,000 - $130,000 annually Company Overview: Join a dynamic global IT solutions provider backed by a leading investment firm. Role Overview: We are seeking an exceptional Senior Accounting Manager with a specialization in inventory management to drive financial excellence and support our company's expansion. Key Responsibilities: Spearhead month-end closings in accordance with US GAAP standards Oversee comprehensive inventory accounting processes Foster cross-functional collaboration to enhance financial operations Lead continuous improvement initiatives for accounting procedures Essential Duties: Manage financial processes, ensuring compliance and delivering insightful analysis Oversee general ledger maintenance, inventory valuation, and expense management Coordinate and facilitate audits, provide mentorship to staff, and lead special projects Required Skills and Competencies: Advanced proficiency in Excel and NetSuite Experience with project management and data visualization tools Familiarity with business intelligence and data analysis software Strong knowledge of internal controls and risk management Deep understanding of US GAAP and financial analytics Big 4 accounting firm experience is highly advantageous Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA certification preferred Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, with expertise in inventory management Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and drive results in a fast-paced environment If you are a proactive leader with a passion for driving financial excellence and are ready to make a significant impact in a growing, technology-driven organization, we invite you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
