Interim Financial Analyst

Join our client's team as an Interim Financial Analyst dedicated to providing critical financial analysis and support within the manufacturing sector. We are looking for a skilled professional with expertise in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting, specifically tailored to meet the unique needs of our client's manufacturing operations. This role is essential for maintaining financial accuracy and integrity while offering strategic insights to drive business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Analysis:

  • Conduct detailed financial analysis to support manufacturing business decisions.
  • Analyze financial performance, identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities.
  • Prepare comprehensive financial reports and presentations for senior management.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

  • Assist in developing the annual budget and financial forecasts for manufacturing operations.
  • Monitor and report on budget performance against targets.
  • Update financial models to reflect current and future business conditions.

Cost Analysis:

  • Analyze manufacturing costs, identifying opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvement.
  • Perform variance analysis and provide recommendations for cost control measures.
  • Collaborate closely with production teams to understand cost drivers and optimize operational processes.

Financial Reporting:

  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements specific to manufacturing operations.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
  • Support internal and external audits related to manufacturing finances.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis, with a focus on manufacturing.
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling and advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience with financial planning software and ERP systems preferred.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

  • the individual's skill sets, experience and training;
  • licensure and certification requirements;
