$18.75 per hour

We are hiring Rescue Technicians with a passion for technical rescue, confined space, and patient care. Combined with the drive to succeed and deliver high-quality care.

Job Summary

The Rescue Technician works as a member of the technical rescue standby team. Rescue Technicians are responsible for performing set-up, rigging, atmospheric monitoring of vessels or spaces. They are responsible for entering confined spaces to gain access to other technical rescue situations to provide life safety and EMS services to victims.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Must have a State Driver's License at time of employment, current and in good standing
• Valid Medical Examiner's Card
• Current CPR card with AED
• EMT (Desired)
• Transportation Worker Identification Card (TWIC)
• Physical Agility Test
• Successful background and drug screening
• Experience in a professional fire department or rescue industry experience
• ICS-100
• Confined Space Rescue Technician (40hrs) (Other agencies will be accepted, but specific Capstone rescue jobs require CA State Fire Marshal Rescue Technician and must be met prior to Job Assignment)
• Able to lift and manipulate equipment required for rescue operations.
• Able to assist with lifting of patients as needed.
• This position requires travel and routine visits to personnel at various locations and sites.

• ICS 300 and 400
• Rescue Instructor Certification
• 40hr HAZWOPER
• I-200, I-300, CA State Fire Marshal Trench Rescue
• CA State Fire Marshal Rescue Systems I
• OSHA 30 - General Industry
• Scott SCBA Technician, MSA Atmospheric Technician
