This role is part of Enterprise Engineering (EE), where we provide technical standards, tools, processes, training, and subject matter expertise for product engineering and manufacturing. EE allows all Blue Origin business units to benefit from commonly used capabilities, hardware, and software and assists business units in identifying, selecting, and training engineers from both inside and outside the organization.

As part of a hardworking team of diverse specialists, you will work with a team responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining Windchill solutions to support our business operations.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Design, develop, and deploy custom Windchill solutions using Windchill APIs and Windchill Object Model.

  • Support integration projects between Windchill and other enterprise systems and applications .

  • Develop custom actions, wizards, workflows, lifecycles, and policies within Windchill.

  • Create and maintain custom Windchill user interfaces using JSP and Java.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Windchill customizations.

  • Develop and maintain technical documentation for Windchill customizations.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

  • Provide training and support to end-users on custom Windchill functionalities.

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Windchill developments and industry best practices.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 2-year AS degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.

  • Minimum 3 years of experience working with Windchill PLM software, specifically in customization development.

  • Proficiency in Windchill PDMLink, Windchill ProjectLink, and other Windchill modules.

  • Strong programming skills in Java, JSP, and XML.

  • Experience with Windchill customization using Windchill APIs and Windchill Object Model.

  • Knowledge of Windchill system administration, including user management and security configurations.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with database management systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server) and SQL scripting.

  • Experience with Agile development methodologies.

  • Knowledge of CAD integration with Windchill.

  • Experience with web services and SOA.

  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and code management.

  • Experience with AWS cloud services.

  • Proficiency in Linux administration and shell scripting.

Compensation Range for:

CA applicants is $104,490.00-$146,286.00;CO applicants is $95,782.50-$134,095.50;WA applicants is $104,490.00-$146,286.00
