Description Position at Old Republic Risk Management Old Republic Risk Management (ORRM) is currently seeking a Policy Processing Associate Supervisor to join its Policy Production Team at its company headquarters inBrookfield, WI. In general, the Policy Processing Associate Supervisor provides supervision support to a Policy Production Supervisor by overseeing the day-to-day tasks associated with supervising staff DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide supervision support to Policy Production staff, including coaching, mentoring, and feedback. Help prioritize work, convey department expectations, and set performance goals. Hold one-to-one performance meetings at least monthly. Act as a department subject matter expert - someone with advanced knowledge in all aspects of Policy Production, including filings, policy and endorsement issuance, coding, etc. Monitor, facilitate, and drive staff adherence to Policy Production requirements, including regulatory compliance. Manage the workflow production of new policies and policy renewals, endorsements, and cancelations. Identify and provide education opportunities for team members to help them succeed in their position and to support their future development. Interview and assist in hiring decisions for new team members. Develop training plans and provide training to new team members. Write and conduct performance reviews; recommend compensation adjustments. Assure adherence to Company policies and procedures, including the use of disciplinary action, when appropriate. Coordinate the use of new underwriting procedures with other Associate Supervisors. Educate staff by providing instructions/guidance and encouragement. Other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: This position requires a High School diploma, or equivalent, and a minimum of three years of related commercial property and casualty experience. Working a Policy Processing Associate Supervisor requires one to work independently and effectively within a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with Microsoft (MS) Windows and Office products is necessary.Other skills necessary include excellent oral and written communication skills, strong organizational and accurate proofreading skills, the ability to maintain accurate records, the ability to exercise discretion with confidential information, strong attention to detail, and the ability to use a variety of office equipment. PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS: This position requires one to sit for extended periods of time and stand and/or walk occasionally. The position requires one to occasionally push, pull, carry, and/or lift up to 10 pounds.No personal protective equipment is required. Ergonomic equipment is available to employees. WHO ARE WE?
