Vaco is looking for a hard working HR Generalist that wants to become a part of a growing company!

Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced HR Generalist to join our team. The HR Generalist will play a key role in providing comprehensive HR support across various functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance. This role is crucial in helping us maintain a positive work environment and ensuring the smooth operation of our HR processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Recruitment and Onboarding:

    • Manage the full recruitment cycle, including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, and hiring.
    • Coordinate and conduct new employee orientations and onboarding processes.
    • Ensure a seamless integration of new hires into the company culture.
  2. Employee Relations:

    • Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns.
    • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters.
    • Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture through effective communication and conflict resolution.
  3. Performance Management:

    • Assist in the development and implementation of performance management systems.
    • Support managers in conducting performance reviews and providing constructive feedback.
    • Identify opportunities for employee development and training.
  4. Compliance and Policy Administration:

    • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
    • Maintain and update HR policies and procedures.
    • Manage employee records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.
  5. Benefits Administration:

    • Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies.
    • Assist employees with benefits-related inquiries and issues.
    • Coordinate annual benefits enrollment and other benefits-related activities.
  6. HR Projects and Initiatives:

    • Participate in HR projects and initiatives aimed at improving HR processes and practices.
    • Support diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
    • Contribute to the development and implementation of HR strategies aligned with business goals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in an HR Generalist role or similar position.
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Certification in HR (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco by Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to:

  • the individual's skill sets, experience and training;
  • licensure and certification requirements;
  • office location and other geographic considerations;

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco by Highspring believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
