The right candidate for this role will be/have: Highly motivated, entrepreneurial, ethical self-starter Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Well -polished in appearance and professional in demeanor Good, solid business network Attention to detail with good judgment Team player with ability to make informed business decisions Specific responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Recommend tax strategies and solutions to clients supporting business goals and objectives Meet with clients and prepare complex tax returns Manage a staff of tax accountants and bookkeepers, review tax returns and work output Work with business owners and other clients to advise on tax planning and business issues Manage, direct, oversee and challenge client engagement teams Provide tax technical training to staff Research and answer tax questions from clients Perform retirement planning analysis Qualifications: BS/BA degree in Accounting; CPA and/or EA preferred 10+ years of tax experience, preferably in external tax accounting Proficiency in technical writing and research Ability to work quickly and independently in a busy and demanding environment Experience preparing/reviewing tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and corporations Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, Quick books, and tax software programs Client service orientated Job Type: Full-time Healthcare 8-% covered and 401k match 3-4% CPA highly recommended Revenue $3million All Domestic tax.
