Position Title:
Food Cashier
Business Unit: Food & Beverage
Position Reports to: Restaurant Manager and/or Front of House Supervisor

WAGE: 20.00 - 21.00 /hr DOE
The Food and Beverage Cashier provides an engaging guest experience through friendly and efficient service. Demonstrates excellent customer service, provides product knowledge to the customers, and maintains store appearance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Provide customer service by greeting and communicating with guests and performing all POS transactions efficiently.
- Maximize sales opportunities by restocking as needed, correctly merchandising product, providing input about inventory levels, and attending store clinics to obtain maximum product knowledge.
- Contributes to a safe work environment by following safety practices and keeping the overall store appearance by maintaining a clean, neat, and orderly venue.
- Contributes a consistent and smooth flow of operations by informing supervisor about supply needs and any internal problems.
- Complete daily opening and closing procedures and daily duties provided by manager and/or supervisor
- Arrives on time, clean, and in proper uniform
- Clocks in and out according to shift
- Demonstrates an upbeat, positive attitude and acts and communicates with our guests in a positive manner
- Responsible for accurate cash handling, making & returning proper change
- Abides by and upholds overall customer service standards
- Adheres to all policies, standards, SOP's and training as directed by the General Manager and F&B Director.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS
- Experience handling cash and using Point of Sale technology
- Proven exemplary customer service skills
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS
- This position is required to work evenings, weekends and holidays while in operation.
- Able to lift, carry, or otherwise move and position a minimum of 20 pounds on an occasional basis.
- Manual dexterity to operate a computer and other common office equipment on a constant basis.
- Auditory and visual acuity to operate computers, phones, mobile devices and basic office equipment on a constant basis.
- Ability to work for extended periods of time sitting, bending, reaching, and speaking on a constant basis.
- Ability to work for extended periods of time standing, walking, kneeling, pushing and pulling on an occasional basis.
- Talking and hearing occur continuously in the process of communicating with guests, supervisors and other employees.
