Summary:

As a Video Surveillance and Access Control (Security) Sales Representative at Day Wireless Systems, you will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth by identifying and capitalizing on opportunities in the video surveillance and access control market. Your focus will be on generating new business while nurturing existing accounts, ensuring long-term partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Sales Strategy Development: Create and implement strategic sales plans to achieve targets and expand market share.
  • Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify and qualify leads through research, networking, cold calling, and other techniques.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Solution Selling: Conduct needs assessments and product demonstrations, recommending appropriate solutions that address client challenges.
  • Proposal Development: Prepare and present proposals and contracts, highlighting the value and ROI of our offerings.
  • Negotiation and Closing: Lead negotiations, overcome objections, and close sales effectively.
  • Account Management: Provide ongoing client support, ensuring satisfaction and identifying upselling opportunities.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to inform sales strategies.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:



  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in security or alarm sales.
  • One year certificate from a college or technical school in sales/communication technology; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proven track record in sales, preferably within the video surveillance or access control industry.
  • Strong understanding of relevant technologies and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
