We are currently looking for a passionate individual to champion our Visitor Services and Welcome Center team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in retail management, financial management, customer service, administrative and project management, retail analysis, and the ability to train, manage, and motivate staff with a positive attitude. Overview: The Manager of Retail and Visitor Services supervises the daily operations of the George Archibald Welcome Center at the International Crane Foundation (ICF). This new facility opened in May 2021 and is the visitor's first impression of our organization. It is the entrance to the Cranes of the World Experience - a network of naturalistic exhibits featuring every species of crane from around the world. The building includes admissions, a 50-seat theater, interactive exhibits, an indoor viewing room for the Sandhill Cranes exhibit, and gift shop. Daily admissions, membership sales, gift shop sales, site orientation, and a self-guided interpretive preview of the organization all take place in this facility. This is a full-time year-round position. The salary range for this role is $50,000-55,000 annually. Job Description: The Manager of Retail and Visitor Services oversees all aspects of the visitor experience at the George Archibald Welcome Center and management of all retail sales including our physical store, online store, and mobile sales venues. The Manager of Retail and Visitor Services works closely with other departments including the Conservation Education Department, Site Management, Development, Marketing and Communications, and Finance to achieve all goals in support of ICF's mission.
