Position description

The Division of Infectious Diseases in the Department of Medicine, David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA is seeking applicants for a full-time, Postdoctoral position. The candidate will conduct research in mucosal immunology and the microbiome in the context of HIV and substance use. Preferred qualifications: Familiar with techniques such as multi-color flow cytometry and/or mass cytometry, sterile technique for cell culture with BSL-2+ practices, ELISA, qRT-PCR, and sterile technique for bacterial culture. Bioinformatics knowledge is preferred but is not required. Experience in bacteriology research (especially anaerobes) is preferred but not required. The candidate should be comfortable working with BSL2+ biospecimens including biospecimens (cells, plasma, gut tissues, saliva) from patients with HIV. A Ph.D. is required.

Qualifications
Basic qualifications

A Ph.D. is required.
