Description

The Flight Simulator Technician 1 is an entry level position into the world of flight simulator maintenance and repair at our flight training facility at Wilmington Air Park. The technician performs:



  • Perform repairs on digital/analog circuits
  • Repairs and aligns visual systems and displays
  • Maintenance on hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • Off equipment bench repair to component level
  • Assists in running FAA quality test guide tests
  • Accompishes pre and post flight maintenance
  • Conducts preventative maintenence on the simulators
  • Other duties as directed


What you must have:



  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Basic understanding of electronic principles, test equipment and soldering techniques
  • 2 years experience in the repair of electronics or electro-mechanical equipment OR equivalent vocational or military training and experience in the repair of electronics or electro-mechanical equipment
  • Ability to lift 75lbs
