Job Description: Looking to convert to full time if the right fit. Pay for this role is between $16.00 and $16.75 base off experience. If candidate is converted to full time pay rate will increase to $17.00 along with Ferguson benefits.

Picking and pulling orders for a majority of the day. The associate will be working at a Ferguson client site and responsible for working at the counter. Client facing so will need to have exceptional customer service experience. Still be able to Pull orders, prepare orders to ship to the customer, staging and wrapping. stock to put away. receiving/verifying materials. Computer experience in Excel as they will be logging data throughout the day.. Cycle count experience (counting of materials/product). manual lifting up to 50 lbs, must be able to stand for 8 hour shift, bending twisting and pulling. Someone who is flexible to work in other areas and be able to fill in for others that may go on vacation or special projects.

*Reminder the physical location is not the exact address of where candidate will be working as they will be working at the client site. Must be able to pass a government background.

Interview and work location will be 1020 S. MEARS AVE, WHITEHALL, MI.

Must haves:

1-2 years of recent Customer Service Experience.

Presentable with a great personality for customer facing

Someone who can put their best foot forward

This is not your standard warehouse role as they are not on a forklift at all. They will be standing most of the day manually pulling materials and working at the counter.

Attendance and punctuality is very important. No cell phone out on facility floor ever!!!!

Qualifications:

1 year of recent Warehouse operations and inventory management.

Product knowledge or the ability to quickly learn it.

1 year Computer experience in Excel email

1-2 years Customer Service experience.

Manual lifting up to 50 lbs

Stand, bend twist, pull for 8 hours a day.

Responsibilities:

Pull and prepare orders for shipment.

Receive, verify, stage, wrapping and stock all incoming material.

Ensure warehouse is clean, organized, secure and safe at all times.

Job duties may or may not be aligned with the following positions- Receiving Associate, Receiving Clerk, or Returns Associate

Comments for Suppliers:

Monday through Friday 6:30 am to 2:30 pm this is a straight 8 hours so it is a working paid lunch-this will be discussed further in interview.

ATTENDANCE AND PUNCTUALITY ARE EXTREMELY IMPORTANT. PERSONAL CELL PHONES ARE NOT ALLOWED TO BE USED DURING WORK HOURS.
