- Effectively respond to and interact with organizational staff and customers.
- Uphold a positive company image when delivering to our customers.
- Read and interpret invoices and packing slips.
- Receive, store, and distribute OneSource materials and products.
- Load and unload materials, make deliveries, and return undelivered material to the warehouse.
- Maintain all required certifications required by DOT, OSHA, and company safety programs.
- Complete truck safety assessment for mechanical problems prior to beginning routes. This involves inspecting truck supplies and equipment, including tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water.
- Submit reports indicating truck condition. Be responsible for general care and maintenance of the vehicle assigned to driver.
- Assemble customer orders from stock and place them on pallets or shelves; or convey orders to packing station or shipping department.
- Load, transport, and deliver customer orders and branch transfers to specified destinations.
- Learn delivery area, check orders for accuracy, and execute cash management duties.
- Read orders such as customer, work, shipping, and transfer orders to determine products to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
- Ability to assist warehouse personnel with the following, but not limited to: warehouse housekeeping duties, withdrawal of merchandise to fill orders, packaging and labeling of orders, storing and shelving of merchandise, relocation and/or rearrangement of stock as required.
- Observe all safety rules and regulations, particularly the hazards encountered with driving a truck.
- Maintain a good driving record and be properly licensed.
- Understand and abide by the Federal Highway Administration Rules and Regulations for drivers where applicable.
- Schedule all necessary deliveries and pick-ups of materials and packages for OneSource using the most efficient and effective means.
- Strong mathematical skills to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, including fractions and decimals.
- Must possess a current, valid Driver's License.
- Must maintain violation free driving record.
What you will bring:
- Electrical, Industrial and/or distribution experience preferred but not required
- High School diploma or G.E.D.; or
- 6 months of related experience and/or training; or
- Equivalent combination of education and experience.
Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to see, talk, and hear.
- This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day.
- The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 50 pounds receptively and unassisted.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Location:91-150 Hanua St, Kapolei, HI 96707 Work hours:Shifts vary between 6:30 AM and 8:00 AM start times, with each shift lasting 8 hours. Overtime may be required as necessary. Salary Range:
- This is a non-exempt position and pays between $17.74-$25.00per hour. This salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, within Hawaii. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role.
