About the Opportunity

DMI, LLC is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to join us.

Duties and Responsibilities:

    Driving the software quality assurance lifecycle within an Agile process
  • Establishing test strategies and designing test plans and cases
  • Developing and executing automated UI and functional tests
  • Designing, developing and executing automated tests to validate the functionality of applications
  • Reporting and managing defects through to successful resolution
  • Working with the team on releases to production
  • Creating test plans, test cases and test data sets based on the requirements and customer needs
  • Documenting and evaluating test results and establishing traceability of requirementss
  • Work on large scale automated testing strategies, quality assurance, and data analysis


Qualifications

Education and Years of Experience: Bachelor's Degree and 8+ years in QA Automation testing

Required and Desired Skills/Certifications:

  • Proficient in both written and verbal communication.
  • Adept at creating test scripts.
  • Familiarity with working in a SAFE Agile software development environment.
  • Skilled in developing automated test scripts using Selenium and Cucumber.
  • Proficient in managing software code utilizing Git, Jenkins, Java, Groovy and MAVEN.
  • Skilled in leveraging Eclipse for efficient debugging and testing of automation scripts.
  • Experienced in integrating automation frameworks with Eclipse for seamless test execution.
  • Proficient in utilizing Eclipse plugins to enhance automation script development and maintenance.
  • Proficient in utilizing Eclipse IDE for developing and executing automation scripts using Selenium.
  • Capable of working autonomously or collaboratively within teams, providing guidance as necessary to fellow testers.
  • Experienced in software testing and troubleshooting using test-driven development frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience with behavior-driven development (BDD) tools like Cucumber.
  • Able to analyze, interpret, and translate user requirements into software solutions.
  • Skilled in writing Linux-based scripts to facilitate application integration using server-side languages like Shell or Python.
  • Proficient in reviewing business requirements and system specifications to plan test scope.
  • Experienced in developing, configuring, and maintaining automated test scripts and environments.
  • Capable of designing and developing automation scripts for regression testing.
  • Knowledgeable in SDLC and adept at implementing incremental automation test scripts within Agile team cadence.
  • Proficient in logging defects, creating defect reports, and ensuring defects correction.
