This full-time position works a 5 day work week, 37.5 hours per week, with need for occasional evening and weekend hours.



Leadership opportunity in Crisis Services This position will have primary responsibility for the planning, development, implementation and oversight of Crisis Care.

Responsibilities



  • Oversees and manages Crisis Services programming to be in compliance with organizational policies and procedures, contracts, accreditation standards and applicable laws and regulations
  • Develops and maintains positive working relationships with community stakeholders, external social services agencies and other emergency and crisis services providers
  • Provides leadership & direction to Crisis Services staff including promoting positive morale, encouraging creativity and teamwork & providing training & resources to staff
  • Makes recommendations and initiates improvements to increase efficiency, improve quality of care, or result in other positive operational impacts
  • Assists with the development and preparation of fiscally appropriate budgets that enable the department to meet its objectives
  • Pursues and develops proposals for outside funding, oversees the allocation of Crisis Services funds and monitors compliance with various funding sources


Requirements

Completion of a Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field and seven years of experience in community mental health services including five years of experience in a supervisory or administrative capacity; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Clinical licensure required (LCPC, LCSW, or LMFT).
