Job Summary

The Services Process Transformation (SPT) team is responsible fordesigning, testing and implementing changes to processes, technologyand organization in order totransform CDW services and drive towarditsgrowth objectives.

The Business Analyst, Services Process Transformation role works closely with business leaders, stakeholders and subject matter experts to understand current state processes, quantify the value of the opportunity being assessed, assists in developing a business case around future state recommendations and the implementation of those recommendations. This role both leads and assists in business and functional requirements gathering, documenting, and conducting data and system analysis.

What you will do:

  • Orchestration - Tools team is responsible fordesigning, testing and implementing changes to software , in order totransform CDW services and drive towarditsgrowth objectives.

    The Business Analyst, role works closely with business leaders, stakeholders and subject matter experts to understand current state application functionality, determine software enhancement request, assists in developing a business case around future state application needs and the implementation of those recommendations. This role both leads and assists in business and functional requirements gathering, documenting, and driving implementation.

    What you will do:

  • Collaborate and engage key stakeholders and subject matter experts to capture pain points/issues
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Develop detailed requirements and use cases for software development projects.
  • Conduct research to identify new technologies and methods to improve business processes.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot software issues, identify root causes, and implement solutions.
  • Develop and maintain documentation such as user manuals, training materials, and technical specifications.
  • Participate in software testing and quality assurance activities.
  • Communicate project status and progress to team members and stakeholders.
  • Provide support to end-users and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Assist with the creation of process workflows, identification of bottlenecks and opportunities to improve the process from end-to-end
  • Gather and prepare supporting analysis and design documentation from a business perspective
  • Assist in implementation of new or revised software enhancements assist in proving out the value or effectiveness of proposed solutions
  • Take part in system test plans and validate that business goals are accomplished
  • Build credibility and trust across stakeholder groups.
  • Develop strong internal relationships with key stakeholders and subject-matter experts across the organization.

What we expect of you:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Finance, Technology, or related fields, and:
  • 3 years of experience developing detailed requirements and use cases of software development projects
  • Work experience in process definition including facilitation, process documentation, and process improvement.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal and communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with all stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of financial processes & concepts of a services business
  • Critical thinker & creative problem solver
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Data-driven mindset and approach
  • Ability to balancing multiple priorities simultaneously adapt to the changing needs of the business while meeting deadlines.
  • Critical attention to detail & ability to stay focused on repetitive tasks.
  • Eagerness to build business acumen services and Integrated Tech organization.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel
  • Master's Degree, preferred.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, preferred.
  • Data science, data analytics or data tools (e.g. Power BI, etc.) experience, preferred.
  • Development experience a plus

  • SQL / Python / R language experience or certification, preferred.
  • Experience using software design support tools and productivity suites such as Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Office, and Microsoft Project, preferred.
