Qualifications: Candidates must possess a M.D. degree and/or Ph.D. degree with experience in induced pluripotent stem cells differentiation to neurons for phenotyping. Additional knowledge, background in GWAS analyses, and familiarity with single cell or single nuclei RNA sequencing, including laboratory and analytic methods. The ideal candidate will perform both in vitro laboratory methods and bioinformatics analyses. Salaries are based on University of California salary scales, which are dependent on academic rank and step, and commensurate with experience. Candidates must possess an M.D. degree and/or Ph.D. degree. The ideal candidate must have experience in psychiatric and neuroscience research. Candidates with strong backgrounds in biomarker research using transcriptomic, genomic and epigenomic approaches will be favored. Also, willing to learn novel neuroscience techniques involving pluripotent stem cells differentiation to neurons for phenotyping is a must.
