Position Title: Mortgage Delivery Associate Business Unit: Mortgage Administration Reports to: Supervisor of Mortgage Delivery Operations Position Overview: This position is primarily responsible for reviewing and shipping of loan files within compliance of government regulations, bank, and investor guidelines. Responsible for reviewing all pended loan issues, disseminates requests to personnel for correction and upload corrective actions and documents to the investors to clear the suspense. Activate mortgage insurance and process government insuring for all loans. Will assist with the balancing and reconciling of general ledger and deposit accounts within the mortgage department. Primary Responsibilities: Responsible for final preparation and delivery of all closed mortgage loans. Must execute delivery based on specific investor requirements. Loans must be delivered in order to meet the established delivery dates by the lock expiration date. Manage loan data input using specific investor website to manage the delivery of loans being sold. Establish the assigned loan number, product type and expiration date. Enter required Uniform Loan Delivery Dataset (ULDD) for import in to the investor websites and ensure accuracy. Reviews and uploads pended loan items missing from the original package. Assists in escalating pended loan issue to Supervisor of Mortgage Delivery Operations. Activate primary mortgage insurance and process government insuring for all loans required to meet established timelines related to the submission of loans to the various private mortgage insurance companies and FHA, VA, and USDA for guaranty. Register MERS for both portfolio and salable loans. Serves as preparer for balancing and reconciling of general ledger and deposit account within the Mortgage department. Stays up to date with all agency and investor guidelines. Includes, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, HUD, Federal Home Loan Bank and Private Investors. Maintain working knowledge of our loan origination systems as well as any other systems that pertain to the delivery requirements of each investor. Performs other related duties and projects as assigned. Thorough understanding of agency and government lending guidelines and processes from origination through sale.
