• Estimated hourly base pay: $27.40 (minimum) - $34.23 (midpoint) - $41.06 (maximum)

Are you ready to make your mark? If you're an Operations Specialist or experienced machine setup/operator, we have an exciting opportunity for you. Woodward is hiring for a Tool Setting Operations Specialist at our Rock Cut Campus in Loves Park, IL. This position will report into the NPI department on 2nd shift.

What You Will Be Doing

• Performing first run tool settings and creating tool packages and managing the machines tool settings, for Makino, Multus, etc.

• Supporting other value streams as needed with NPI parts and our delivery to customers.

• Using Zollar and Omega pre-setting tools to conduct offsets.

• Performing balancing of the tools per Woodward requirements and instructions

• Using various computer programs and systems, including but not limited to WISE, Esprit, PC

• Collaborating with the operations technicians, Operations specialists, project coordinators and NPI engineering teams on a regular basis to maintain NPI deliverables.

What We Are Looking For

• A high school diploma is required.

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment

• 2 or more years of experience in setting up and operating machines (2-axis lathes, VMC and/or HMC) in an industrial manufacturing environment is preferred.
