Technical Project Coordinator - EXE

Introduction

Within ASML the sector Customer Support (CS) is responsible for the installation, maintenance, upgrades and continuous improvement of ASML products. The Technical Project Coordinator provides the onsite coordination of all external support required to efficiently execute the installation activities.

The Technical Project Coordinator directly reports to the CS EUV/EXE Install line management and operationally to the local Project Leader (PL). In this role, the coordinator will have many internal interfaces and direct interface with the customer. The Coordinator will work with the PLs, Manufacturing, engineering and the local customer to plan and make all necessary preparations for the on-time execution of the EUV system installation.

The role will perform on-site coordination of the installations including: Customer managed resources, facility connections, monitor proper use of safety ways of working, and maintain operational schedules. In this role you will also be expected to communicate plans and schedules to the appropriate stakeholders and make timely changes to the installation schedule accordingly. The installation process is very dynamic thus flexibility is a key competency to succeed in this environment.

Roles and responsibilities

  • Participate and/or lead projects which are aimed at supporting our customer

  • Own workstreams within a larger project and able to develop and drive autonomously a project plan and chase a successful execution with regular updates to relevant internal and external stakeholders.

  • Define (on-product) experiments and join customers in experimentation to ensure that they are performed in an efficient manner for accuracy and demonstrate ASMLs product value.

  • Define and conduct (on-product) data analysis to ensure that the correct conclusions are drawn from customers acquired experimental data and results reported to ASML and customer.

  • Translate a customer on-product issue into a potential lithography or metrology related problem statement, resolve these issues to help them maximize the performance and use of ASML products.

  • Meet with internal and external customers to maintain two-way level of commitment to keep all involved and affected parties informed of progress.

  • Prepare technical presentations via PowerPoint.

  • Working with product teams, and project team and account organizations locally and across the US to drive demonstrated value into product solutions that meets customers' requirements and achieve tool-of-record configuration.

Education and experience

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or similar degree with equivalent years of experience.

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a dynamic, fast paced, customer focused role

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in project coordination or project management

  • Minimum 1 year of experience with stakeholder management

Other Information

  • Travel may be required dependent on business need (Veldhoven, Netherlands; Taiwan; Ireland; Chandler, US; Albuquerque, US; Hillsboro, US).

  • Non-exempt position requires domestic and international travel, and the willingness to work flexible shifts and extended hours including nights, weekends, and holidays; extensive overtime may be required during upgrade execution. (This role will be assigned to the schedule Sunday-Thursday 3pm-12am)

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

  • Legal/export license control (see below)

  • All employees must be able to pass an extensive background check to obtain customer clearance

  • Expect to spend some time inside the clean room aligning with the engineering team

  • Valid driver's license and passport required.

  • At times, job requires standing for long periods of time and moving tools and equipment up to 40 lbs. in weight unaided.

  • This position may require international travel (up to 50%) to the field offices or other sites with short notice and uninterrupted periods up to 6 weeks in a row.
