About the Role

What you will do



  • Technical Support: You will provide technical support and administration of the current applications and services across multiple environments, including Azure. Use your analytical and critical thinking skills to troubleshoot complex problems and provide root-cause-analysis. Collaborate with both internal and external technical resources for problem resolution. Take ownership of complex problems or business processes and see the implementation to completion.





  • Solutions: Identify problems proactively and strategically driving solutions while engaging relevant resources and stakeholders. You will not only care about problems you are solving but the quality of the solution used to solve those problems. You will use both existing tools and utilities provided and develop your own. You will have the knowledge needed to integrate data from external sources and support seamless integration with our dynamic web applications and services.





  • Communication: You will use your strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with fellow team members, external vendors, and technical resources across teams. When the need arises, you will be able to communicate with customers both internal and external.





  • Monitoring and Alerting: You will implement and manage monitoring and alerting of systems and the production environment to proactively ensure the availability and stability of systems and infrastructure.





  • Planning: Participate in the planning process and prepare time estimates for assigned tasks.



What you will bring



  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline preferred with 1+ years of applications development experience or demonstrated ability to meet job requirements through a comparable number of years of technical work experience





  • 1+ years in Software Development, Cloud Engineering





  • Must have an understanding in agile software development methodologies





  • Experience in Object Oriented Development with C# and database development with T-SQL is required





  • Knowledge of or experience using various Microsoft and web development technologies including but not limited to: MVC, LINQ, HTML5, jQuery, WCF





  • Experience in development or support of web services





  • Strong knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture





  • Very good communications and interpersonal skills





  • Strong knowledge of various software development tools and products





  • Strong analytical and research skills





  • Ability to take ownership of problems or business processes and see the implementation to completion



What we would like to see



  • Experience developing or configuring Azure solutions





  • IIS, WebForms, Angular, Powershell experience





  • Experience in deployment pipelines (Azure DevOps, Octopus)
