About the role:

We are looking for an organized, strategic, and detail-oriented Director of Marketing Operations to join our team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in marketing operations, analytics, and technology, with a strong ability to optimize processes and improve marketing efficiency. This role will report directly to the VP of Marketing and work closely with senior leadership, marketing, sales, and other cross-functional teams. The Director of Marketing Operations will drive the development and execution of scalable processes, systems, and metrics to support the marketing team's objectives and growth.

This position requires a strategic thinker with a track record of implementing marketing technologies and operations frameworks, combined with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. The Director of Marketing Operations will ensure the marketing team operates efficiently and effectively, focusing on continuous improvement and delivering measurable results.


A day in the life of our Associate Director, Marketing Operations:

Operational Strategy & Planning:



  • Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing operations strategy that aligns with the company's overall business goals and supports marketing and sales initiatives
  • Define and implement processes for marketing planning, budgeting, and performance management
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of marketing strategies with overall business objectives


Marketing Technology & Infrastructure:



  • Manage and optimize the marketing technology stack, including CRM, marketing automation, analytics, and other marketing tools
  • Ensure seamless integration of marketing systems with other business systems, including sales and customer support
  • Evaluate and implement new marketing technologies to enhance capabilities and drive efficiency


Data & Analytics:



  • Develop and maintain a robust marketing analytics framework to measure the effectiveness of marketing activities and campaigns
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to the marketing team based on data analysis and performance metrics
  • Establish and track key marketing metrics and KPIs, generating regular reports for senior leadership


Process Optimization:



  • Identify and implement best practices for marketing processes, focusing on scalability, efficiency, and continuous improvement
  • Develop and manage workflows for campaign planning, execution, and reporting, ensuring consistency and quality across all marketing activities
  • Collaborate with the sales team to optimize lead management processes, ensuring timely and effective lead handoff


Team Leadership:



  • Build and lead a high-performing marketing operations team, providing guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities
  • Set clear goals and performance metrics for team members
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative marketing culture


Cross-Functional Collaboration:



  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, product development, and other departments to align marketing efforts with overall business objectives
  • Drive collaboration with the digital marketing team (Paid/SEO) to ensure data-driven optimizations and performance improvements


Market Trends & Innovation:



  • Stay current with marketing operations trends, technologies, and best practices
  • Identify and implement innovative strategies and tools to enhance marketing operations and drive results
  • Use data-driven insights to inform marketing strategies and optimize processes


Who We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
  • Proven experience in marketing operations leadership roles, ideally with a minimum of 6-8 years of progressive marketing experience
  • Strong understanding of marketing technologies, data analytics, and process optimization
  • Excellent analytical and data-driven decision-making skills
  • Strong project management abilities and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Leadership and team management experience, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
  • Familiarity with the latest marketing trends and technologies
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines


The salary range for this role is $132,000 - $150,000.Actual compensation packages within this range are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate and role requirements, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and specific location.
