Job Description

Responsible for ongoing developments of digital channel specific software, working closely with the lines of business to ensure software is utilized effectively, and to ensure vendors are meeting service agreements. This position will work closely with the lines of business to define requirements, maximize functionality of bank purchased software, continually improving workflows and technical requirements while reducing manual steps or work-a-rounds.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Takes the lead on vendor stakeholder meetings, creates agendas and drives vendors to complete tasks in a timely manner; communicates bank needs and holds vendors accountable.
  • Serve as technical liaison for all digital channel vendors
  • Coordinates system upgrades with all stakeholders (Business line, IT Ops, IT Support, IT Security, Vendor)
  • Participates in BCP Development and Testing impacting the digital channel
  • Utilize business/functional requirements to help develop test scripts and test system changes/functionalities in conjunction with the QA Analysts, as needed.
  • Evaluates and resolves technical feasibility, design optimization, and production issues
  • Researches and monitors existing client base and industry developments to ensure we have leading technology offerings that match their needs
  • Communicates process changes, enhancements, and modifications to internal and external customers
  • Identifies data processing gaps between various systems and stakeholders and recommends solutions
  • Documents system standards and ensure that the Bank is adhering to specifications and regulatory compliance
  • Identifies potential new product opportunities and areas to increase efficiency
  • Contributes to vendor evaluation relative to digital channel software applications
  • Develops ongoing reporting to validate system KPIs and provide routine updates to senior leadership
  • Support developments of bank products ensuring project deliverables are met
  • Ability to articulate business proposals in a logical, well documented fashion
  • Seeks product enhancement to address system issues
  • Assist with maintaining the system development workbook and following up with business lines and vendors to ensure that bugs/issues and enhancements are being addressed
  • Meets regularly with vendors to drive product enhancements
  • Works with team to monitor vendor roadmaps and system enhancements, ultimately creating proposals to implement new features which reduce cost and/or increase efficiency

JOB REQUIREMENTS



  • Extensive knowledge of line of business processes and applications
  • Excellent documentation skills
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
  • Strong understanding of information security concepts
  • Extension knowledge of the Bank's software applications, technological infrastructure, networking and network design, and all data processing systems
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexible schedules
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks
  • Experience with MS-Office products, specifically; Visio, Excel, Word

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE



  • Bachelor's degree or in 7 years' experience in a related area
  • Familiarity with Business Processes and IT security concepts
  • Project Management (PMP) certification preferred by not required
  • Knowledge of and/or Admin Certification to Salesforce preferred
  • HTML/Python Coding experience preferred


WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS



  • Normal business office environment
  • Must be able to routinely perform work on computer for an average of 6-8 hours per day, when necessary
  • Must be able to work extended hours whenever required or requested by management
  • Must be capable of regular, reliable and timely attendance
