We're looking for a Principal Software Engineer - IBM Assembler, VSAM and CICS candidate to join our team in North America, Remote.

You will report to the VP and Principal Architect

You will work with the US and UK team working with Informatica PowerExchange

• IBM Assembler, VSAM, CICS

• Develop new features & enhancements.
• Collaborate, and develop programming environment with peer engineers, and architects spanning their respective areas to deliver end-to-end components and features.
• Handling customer escalations that are routed to R&D from Global customer support (would require you to re-prioritize your tasks).
• Gather and interpret broad requirement specifications from customers/Product Management that are not yet defined.
• Produce techno-functional specs and designs based on high-level requirements.
• Estimate efforts, identify risks, and meet project schedules.
• Be an amazing performer and team player who enjoys challenging assignments in a fast-growing distributed workplace.
• Work in an Agile software development team delivering product and feature increments in short iterations.

• 10+ years of experience developing enterprise software products using IBM Mainframe Technologies.
• Excellent coding and design skills in IBM Assembler is mandatory.
• Experience with CICS and VSAM is mandatory.
• Additional skills with Java, C, C++, and IBM Databases is beneficial
• Any experience with cloud services is beneficial
