Occupational Safety & Industrial Hygiene Program Manager EH&S Admin Full Time 79849BR Job Summary Manages multiple areas of responsibility, including clinical safety, industrial hygiene, facility safety, ergonomics, and related programs. Manages the professional and technical staff responsible for implementing these programs across the UCSF enterprise. Develops new programs in response to changing regulations and customer needs, ensuring institutional compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, policies, and best practices. Provides guidance and strategic direction to EH&S program managers/supervisors as needed. Oversees a spectrum of specialized technical programs and serves as a subject matter expert within one or more of the assigned fields. Coordinates and prioritizes EH&S support to UCSF Health and the Medical Center Safety Office. Responds directly to regulatory agencies at the local, state, and federal level. Additionally, represents UCSF EH&S at UC system wide meetings, seminars, and working groups. The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy.
