Global Licensing Coordinator

POSITION LOCATION

JOB SUMMARY

The primary focus will be to support and assist the Licensing team with Licensee management and day-to day operations and business development. These tasks include product development, business development / prospecting, Licensee vetting, product approvals, product development, line reviews, Licensing summits, planning, and some administrative functions. This position will interface with other functional areas inside of Kontoor including Legal, Finance, Accounting, Design, Merchandising, Brand, and Factory Compliance, and Product Stewardship.

As a secondary focus, this position will work with License staff regarding Mediabox royalty management and reporting. Assistance with system operations, execution many be required to track product rights, contracts, and deadlines for Licensees.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Product Approvals: manage product approval uploads from licensees, coordinate flow of SKU approvals to Design and Brand
  • Account Management: Works with Licensing team to manage specific License partners including line development, account targets, reporting details, and factory compliance.
  • Business Development: Works with Licensing team to ensure Licensees are development business within key retailers and channels.
  • New Business Development: Actively searches for new potential targets for License portfolio expansion.
  • Assists in compiling and analyzing monthly and quarterly reports uploaded through Mediabox from licensees: tracking progress toward yearly departmental revenue goals and partner contract royalty obligations as well as communicating this information to accounting and legal.
  • Supports the licensing team with various administrative duties
  • Assists with special projects as they arise that may include product development, line reviews, licensing summits, research and planning.
  • Works with supply chain and operations team to assist with the factory compliance and onboarding process for new licensees and collab partners
  • Reporting: manage and update new accounts, sku's, licensees to ensure data integrity
  • Responsible for integrity of Licensee data, contracts, reporting, and artwork submissions
  • Ensures that current and correct revenue info is available and that royalties are being calculated correctly
  • Compiles and analyzes monthly and quarterly reports uploaded through Mediabox from licensees: tracking progress toward yearly departmental revenue goals and partner contract royalty obligations as well as communicating this information to accounting and legal.
  • Data Asset Management: manages the brand portal to ensure that licensees have the most current branding, marketing materials, trademark, and brand guidelines
